Clayton Kershaw
I sent 3 baseball cards to Kershaw during 2012 Spring Training, and a year later, my 2011 Topps card came back autographed in black! For being one of the best pitchers in baseball, Kershaw is a pretty consistent signer (with long wait times). I like to refer to him as "The Justin Verlander of the National League"

I was almost sure I wouldn't get them back, but figured it was worth a shot... Sure enough, 9 MONTHS later my 2 cards came back signed in black sharpie, postmarked from California. Something I have noticed based on my own successses along with the successes of others, you will get a faster response from Boggs if you send a donation. If you don't send any money (I didn't), you will still get a response, it will just take a little longer.

Stan Musial
I was so happy and surprised to see this in my mailbox! Definitely the BEST success I have gotten and probably the best I ever will get. On February 18th, I sent a baseball to Stan Musial at StanTheMan Inc. In St. Louis, along with $40 cash, and in just 9 days I got my ball back SIGNED! It also came with a Certificate of Authenticity from the company ensuring that the ball is signed by Stan Musial. What's so awesome about this success is 1.) Mr. Musial is 90+ years old and is still signing, and 2.) Balls usually cost $100 to get signed, but he was nice enough to sign mine for less. I'm so happy to get this back from my favorite Hall of Famer! Stan really is THE MAN!

Matt Holliday
I sent to Matt Holliday when he was with the Rockies in 2007. He now plays for the Cardinals if you were thinking of sending to him. He signed a 2005 Topps card for me in what looks like a fine tip marker. (I don't THINK this is an auto pen, but I am not an expert about autographs.)

Pat Neshek
Sent to Neshek during the 2009 season, when he was with the Twins. Neshek is definitely THE BEST signer in baseball, and maybe in all of sports. He will sign anything you send him in any quantity. It's really great he sends autographs TTM so consistently, I wish all athletes were like Neshek. Check out Neshek's website with contains information about his personal autograph collecting, along with letters from fans. It's really cool.

Joe Nathan
Sent to Nathan in 2010 when he was with the Twins. I know this one took more than 4 months, but I'm not complaining as Nathan was one of the best closers from 2005-2009, even though he has since declined, it's still a great success. He signed a 2007 Topps in black sharpie.

Josh Hamilton
Sent to Hamilton at for 2010 Spring Training. It took almost a year to get it back, received in December. I'm guessing he collects all of his mail and signs it at the end of the season. Besides the long wait, he is still one of the best signers in baseball, and you have a very good chance to get his autograph if you send to him.
